Podcast widget
I was playing around with Dashcode tonight - if you noticed I made the lovely countdown for the Bundle Release Show on Tuesday - and decided I would make a podcast widget. It’s a quick mock-up, nothing major yet. This is more for testing and another way for people to listen. So try it out, let me know if it works and what you think. Thanks!

Sorry for the live feed dropping tonight
Ustream has been a real pain for us the last few weeks. I was a Firefox user last weekend and had to use Safari for the stream and it worked fine. This week, using Safari 4…it wouldn’t work at all. So I used Firefox. Worked fine until the end and then it constantly kept dropping. I’m still not sure if it’s my connection or ustream but, regardless, I haven’t been completely happy with them. We never showed up in their iPhone app - which, to be honest, pretty much sucks.
We’re looking into using a different service from now on. I’m testing some right now as I write this - you know, instead of school work or editing the podcast - and seeing how it goes. We’ll decide on one soon and make this all work.
Again, we apologize for our issues. Ustream just hates us, I guess.

Calling the Twitterverse!
When a mission or nanomission goes on, every heister has an opinion about the puzzles and the loot. We want to know what they are! The quickest way to let us know is via twitter hash tags. We’ve come up with two hash tags #mhpuzzle and #mhloot.
Use #mhpuzzle to tell us when you’re stuck, when a puzzle is particularly cool, or when you’ve finally solved it.
Use #mhloot after the debriefing to tell us what you think of the freebies.
If your entry is particularly awesome, we may mention your Twittername live on the air. So tweet away Twitterverse, we’re listening!

In light of the removal of the Chat link on the MacHeist page, we enlisted the help of Timi to create a cocoa wrapper for Mibbit so people can still get to the channel.
